01:13tomorrow's game yeah so this is a fun game because it's a rematch of the opener of the 2010 world

01:19when south africa hosted which is kind of fun and interesting that that's the way it shook out
01:24uh but yes i i think that's where the opening for this match is mexico always play defensively and
01:32south african are going to be under a lot of pressure so they're going to want to keep mexico
01:36out of the net as well they have a very good goalkeeper and ronwin williams who was excellent
01:40in the 2023 africa cup of nations uh particularly in penalty shootouts so uh watch for him there
01:45but this is going to be a game where goals are going to be hard to come by mexico did

01:49five goals against serbia in their warm-up game but serbia is not world cup opposition um and if
01:55you look back at their recent results a lot of one nil two nil one one even nil nil so

02:20goes in this one south korea plus 165 a tie is plus 200 chechia is plus 190 in the total

02:26and a half is pretty standard for a lot of these first round world cups here and especially in group
02:30a so is there a position here because i don't think either of these teams is is very good so

02:37a surprise would be in store but there's not a lot of plus money for either yeah both of these

02:42are decent but neither one has had a good run-up to the tournament both teams have struggled in
02:47their own right south korea hasn't played very many quality opponents and chechia had some negative
02:52results so um i'm probably leaning towards south korea here if you're gonna take a money line but i
02:59think taking the over in this game is actually great south korea play a very chaotic style which is
03:05relatively common in asia you get japan that plays a similar way they try to counter-attack you
03:09to death uh and are very good at doing it um they've got a couple of injuries to key attacking
03:14players but i think they can still score a couple goals in this game and and chechia has proven
03:20vulnerable at the back i think but they're capable of scoring some goals as well so i like the over

03:26this game um you can get it at slightly plus odds which i think is a boon that that two
03:31and a half
03:32goal total is relatively common like you said you'll see that most of the way throughout the tournament
03:37that's been pretty much the standard for over unders in soccer games over the past decade or so
03:42although at the club level it started to creep up towards three and a half because club soccer has
03:48gotten a little more goal scoring um but at the international level you're still going to see
03:52that right around two and a half for most matches now one of the bigger favorites uh coming up is
03:57canada despite some of the injuries i know that they have they're playing bosnia that match is friday
04:03at 3 p.m and canada is minus 125 bosnia is a pretty big dog the tie or the draws

04:13i mean i would imagine canada being this big a favorite kyle supposed to win do they get it done

04:26teams to score in this game um canada's had a couple of defensive injuries especially to moise
04:31bombito who's a very important player for them he's trying to come back but still has struggled
04:36to make it back from a long-term injury um and bosnia and herticovina are an okay team but they're
04:42starting to get up there in years especially their striker and djeko um i like both teams to find the
04:47back of the net because canada has some good attacking players um but they also are are prone to
04:52conceding as well highest rated game of the weekend will occur friday night at 9 p.m eastern as
04:58team usa is back at the world cup here and supposed to in group b do much better than we've
05:05seen in
05:05the past now i keep hearing that four years ago eight years ago 12 years ago like it just doesn't
05:11stop with that but supposedly this is the year so i'll play that card this year team usa is favored

05:24at nine uh i mean there's got to be pressure to win this one i mean if usa is going

05:40themselves in the knockout stage if you look at how this bracket and this 48 team setup is for for

05:47world cup the first with 48 teams three points is likely going to get you into the knockout stage
05:54in the in the past format with 32 teams the top two teams in each group advanced to the knockout

06:00that was it that's all you had to do it was pretty simple in this tournament with 48 teams the
06:05top two
06:05teams in each group advance automatically and the top eight of the 12 third place finishers also advance
06:11it's almost impossible for a team of the u.s caliber to be eliminated in the group stage the
06:17question will be where in the bracket will they fall thanks to their group stage finish so finishing
06:24first in the group is a huge advantage in the knockout round as opposed to finishing second or third
06:29they would want to get three points out of this game i i think they will they've beaten paraguay back
06:35in november so a recent result and fuller and balagoon looks to be in very good goal scoring form
06:41up front he's not a great finisher but he gets a ton of chances because his off ball movement
06:45is excellent i like him to score at around plus 220 or so you can get two to one odds
06:49on that which
06:50is very good i like usa to score over one and a half goals you can get that at plus
06:54odds too because
06:55the market expects this to be a low scoring game i don't think so i think the u.s will
