00:35not that long ago he also pardoned the founders of bitmex another crypto exchange a while back so
00:40it's not like crypto pardons are rare or unusual but trump did tell the new york times earlier this
00:45year that he had no intention of pardoning sam bankman freed so applying this way through the
00:49public sphere is i guess a bit more visible than what we're used to for these kinds of things normally
00:54these pardon negotiations tend to kind of happen behind the scenes but it will be a really
00:58interesting fight for sam to watch
