00:00Appreciate y'all being here. I understand that there's probably going to be questions that involve off the field topics
00:11and for that I have a statement and I hope I can answer as many of those questions that y
00:19'all may have and I ask that you can talk about football after that and I hope that you know
00:28we can understand and respect
00:30that from each other obviously this was a unique opportunity you know being asked and given the opportunity to introduce
00:42the president of the United States you know my thinking was was pretty simple in the fact of you know
00:51I've always loved this country I have extended family members who have fought in wars I have two uncles who
00:59have retired from the Air Force Academy and serve themselves and I even have a great grandfather who served as
01:09Secretary of Treasury at some point so the president position has always been a position that I've well respected regardless
01:18of political affiliation regardless of political party
01:25and you know my intentions were just that I also understand in this world politics can be a sensitive matter
01:37a sensitive topic I also understand that I am the quarterback of the New York Giants and that involves a
01:46lot of responsibility it's under a limelight under a microscope and there's a lot that comes with that and it's
01:52been something that I've embraced
01:53I've loved being here I've loved being here I've loved the city of New York I've loved the city of
01:57New Jersey the people that I've met here it's just been a really amazing experience and there's not another place
02:03that I'd rather be
02:06you know most importantly the people in this organization my teammates the staff coaches everybody that has a hand Jose
02:17you name it you know I've loved making relationships with them and
02:22and growing connections and growing connections and that's that's the kind of person that I am I'm a connector I
02:27love making relationships with people I love hearing everybody's stories and and being somebody who you know people can can
02:35rely on to be there for them
02:40and most importantly I can honestly say that I love every single you know one of my brothers my teammates
02:46on this team
02:48regardless of politics regardless of religious beliefs regardless of anything that may be different between us like I love them
02:58and they know exactly what kind of person that I am who comes into the facility every day and
03:04um you know who lays you know I lay my body on the line for my guys each and every
03:09week and uh you know it's it's it's from the connections that we build the love that we have for
03:13each other
03:15um and you know I've been somebody who's who's always respected you know the different perspectives that people may have
03:22the backgrounds that they come from I understand that you know we have such a cool
03:26um opportunity as people you know to be in a locker room where it's a melting pot of people from
03:32everywhere and we get to to be together
03:40and uh you know I think that the connections that we build um are special because you know we're able
03:47to have vulnerable conversations we're able to to learn from each other to support each other
03:53um irrespective of the color of our skin and uh you know we have a real brotherhood
03:59um we've had a lot of honest conversations um with each other as a team and uh I keep though
04:06I like to keep those things private between me and my teammates and um and just everything that's been said
04:13um but you know I love these guys and and going forward I can't wait for what more we have
04:19to grow you know the culture of of this team our brotherhood and um obviously we understand the biggest goal
04:26is is to be the best team that we can be
04:28um to put ourselves in the best position to succeed uh to chase a championship um to be the best
04:35players for coach harbs and all the coaches here
04:37and uh you know that's our focus going forward each and every day and um can't wait to to continue
04:44to do that
04:44appreciate you guys
04:50do you understand why introducing that president would be something that some of your teammates would
04:56have a problem with that's why it's viewed as controversial
04:59look I respect the question um I understand the question um you know my statement's all that I have
05:07um for you guys right now and um yeah it's just that's that's where I'm at
05:13do you think you made a mistake um like I just gave my statement so um ask that you know
05:20we can all
05:21respect and understand that that's where I'm at right now one thing did you did you were you taken
05:26aback by what happened afterwards this is not a political question this is a football you know
05:33society question were you surprised after you did that how this blew up into what it grew up into
05:40um um I think um you know obviously we've had conversations as a team um you know I think
05:53that this is you know just kind of the the situation that was at hand was um you know I
06:00don't think that
06:00you ever really expect things to be exactly what they are I would say um but you know from from
06:08my
06:08point of view um what I said earlier is what I have right now and um yeah I'm looking forward
06:14to
06:15to continue to get better as a team and to grow our relationships let's take two more as a leader
06:20of the
06:20team did you feel like you needed to address your teammates about this is that something John said to
06:23you about this week about addressing this with your teammates or is that something you wanted to do
06:27I'm open with with all my teammates so um I think that it was a very um you know everybody
06:34saw it the
06:34same way and and for me uh you know we we as teammates want to become closer be the best
06:40you know when
06:40you're on the field and you're playing in front of the world and uh you're in vulnerable positions you
06:46got to be able to trust you know the man next to you and so I think that you know
06:50the most important thing
06:50that we have together is communication so um you know I that was kind of my point of view and
06:56um you
06:57know we all want to communicate and uh and be honest and and share our perspectives um from every side
07:04and
07:04and and and and just communicate and I think that that's what's so special about the team that we have
07:08here is um our ability to do that but people said that you guys spoke right uh and ironed it
07:15out
07:16was that how important was that to you to do and did you reach out to him and how did
07:21that did you
07:22initiate that said one time with Abdul oh yeah with Abdul like he said you guys iron you know talked
07:27and
07:27ironed it out yeah why was that important to you and then did you initiate that make sure that that
07:33happened after you saw this comment yeah I mean we just we just talked um you know me and Abdul
07:39came
07:39here at the same time we've shared a lot of very similar experiences we've experienced um adversity
07:44through a season and had to have each other's backs and that's exactly what we continue to do today um
07:50you know me and him are you know one of the closer guys on the team with each other so
07:55um you know we've
07:57had a lot of conversation and he's my brother you know I know that I'm a brother to him and
08:02um you know
08:03at the end of the day we want to be the best people and players for each other thank you
08:08thank y'all
08:09yeah I'm just going to address this one time because we all want to move past this and get over
08:13this like
08:13everybody do so first off I want to say that some things are bigger than football and this is one
08:18of
08:19those things uh Jackson is one of our leaders he's the face of our franchise he not only represents
08:24himself and what he does but he represents all of us and that goes for anybody who wears a giant
08:29uniform but if he chooses to align himself with a man like President Trump it's my responsibility based
08:35on what I believe and what I stand on to not only show my teammates that I'm against that but
08:40to show
08:41the world and that doesn't mean that we have to spread hate it doesn't mean that me and Jackson
08:46hate each other or we have beef I sit next to Jackson every day every team meeting we close we
08:50talk
08:51you know we just as long as we make sure we got the same goal as a team and our
08:55goals aligned which
08:56they do and I feel like that's all that matters so I just want to move past this and yeah
09:00that's it
09:02I'll take any questions about anything else but in terms of this I just want to move past this
09:07I do can I ask you when you spoke to Jackson do you think he fully understood and respected your
09:13viewpoint yeah yeah exactly I know Jackson is a good dude like I said I was drafted with this guy
09:18I've known him for almost two years now so I know what he represents and I know that our goals
09:23aligned
09:23as a team and just because we have a disagreement in something doesn't mean that you know there is
09:28something more than that it's just a disagreement and we can talk about it as men which we did and
09:32move
09:32forward from it so that's my last time answering that yeah everyone when you guys had conversations
09:38I mean Coach Charles mentioned at the team meeting how did that team meeting make you more confident
09:42that this team is ready to move past this and be better as you said well like I said just
09:47everybody
09:48that's on the team are grown men so we have conversations we talk about it and we move on from
09:53it
09:55do you feel like you were heard by everybody in the room and not just Jackson or Coach Harbs
10:01um I feel like everybody heard me and understands yeah when did you talk to the rest of your teammates
10:08about it well we talk about every day like if it's something that's going on between the team we
10:14we're going to always make sure we talk about it not letting not not let anything go under the rug
10:18you tell me if I'm wrong but you weren't here earlier in the week you were no yeah so did
10:23you
10:23I guess it was yes Thursday right did you talk to your teammates separately like as a group or you
10:29did you talk to them separately I've had one-on-one conversations with my teammates and just talking
10:34about our views and things house how somebody views certain things and how obvious certain things
10:39it's just conversations that we have we'll take a couple more Harbaugh said that he felt
10:44how this thing happened the beginning of the week you guys have come out of this a stronger
10:49yeah football team a stronger locker room do you feel the same way and why yeah yeah for sure I
10:54think
10:54everything happens for a reason you know when things like this happen it's an opportunity for
10:57us to come together to talk about it learn more about each other and just move forward from it
11:03did Jackson say you were sorry for doing that no I don't I don't want him to say he's sorry
11:07like
11:07stand on what you believe in but it can't be a problem when I stand on what I believe in
11:11and that's all that matters to me just as long as we have that understanding it's all good
11:15thanks everyone yeah appreciate y'all okay good to see everybody appreciate you being here
11:20obviously a beautiful day uh three really good practices this week capped off by another really
11:26good practice really appreciate the way the guys are working the energy they're putting forth the
11:30attention to detail how much they're improving from day to day into the you know the football team that
11:35we're trying to build did have the unfortunate incident at the end with gunner we'll find out what
11:40the situation is with that that was a non-contact change of direction kind of a deal on the grass
11:45there
11:45so that was disappointing but beyond that just so proud of the guys and so appreciative of the
11:51effort coaches and players I really like the mindset of this football team so we got another
11:57week behind us we'll have two more weeks to go we'll have the phase two final week third week next
12:05week three days into four days and then we'll have the mandatory mini camp the week after that then the
12:11guys will get away for about five weeks and we'll be back for training camp at the greenbrier what
12:16questions you have
12:19john since we have spoken to you last there's been some off the field news certainly um the players
12:26talked about it what's your take on all this and how it affects the locker room decision making and all
12:32that sure yeah it's all it's all great good questions and it's interesting stuff and i think it's kind of
12:36part of the conversation of uh of life and we're part of that too as a football team like any
12:43workplace so
12:44it was a great opportunity it was it was really a good opportunity for us as a football team to
12:50have these kind of conversations around a real a real life incident you know it's something that uh
12:55that comes up uh it's one thing to talk about it in theory you know this is how we want
12:59to handle this
13:00that or the other and we do but when you have something that happens it's like real because things are
13:04going to happen that are real you get a chance to talk about them uh practically and that was the
13:09best
13:10part about it we had a chance to talk to the guys a little bit through the weekend then we
13:14got in first
13:14thing tuesday because that was our first chance back together we didn't want to let it sit uh we the
13:20veterans came in and we had a really good conversation with those guys uh we went into a team meeting
13:25uh and
13:26and and really the important thing to understand is that you know we are what we are is a collection
13:32of all of us
13:33together and so we need to understand really how we want to approach these things going forward
13:38and you don't want to stand up there and and just try to dictate some terms you know as as
13:44a coach
13:44you want to find out what the players think you know how the coaches and players feel about it and
13:49really mainly the players because as i told them it's your team you know and what you want the focus
13:54to be on and what you want to be uh about going forward and where we're going to treat one
13:58another
13:58going forward uh is it going to be centered around respect and those kind of things that's really
14:03up to you guys as a team and you you guys need to decide and then let's let's talk about
14:08it and
14:08let's decide what we're going to do and we had a good little meeting wasn't real long but it was
14:12to
14:13the point and and the and the players established amongst themselves how they wanted to approach these
14:19kind of things you know they're part of part of the dialogue in our society and they did a great
14:24job
14:24i was proud of them i was impressed by him uh couldn't have couldn't have asked for anything
14:28better and so we're in a good place now and we're moving forward do you think jackson made a mistake
14:34i don't think it's about that you know i don't think it has anything to do with that it's not
14:37a
14:37judgment type of a thing it's nothing to be judged you know it's i it's funny andy reed i remember
14:43andy reed used to have a card behind his desk uh and i looked at it for about two years
14:48before he
14:49asked him what it was i've told this story before but it just said don't judge and i finally had
14:54the
14:54the nerve to ask him and and he explained that that's you know the point is and it's a biblical
14:58principle but the point is basically is that everybody comes from a different place a different
15:04space a different background people were brought up in all kind of different ways that is a fact
15:09that is the beauty of a football team it is a microcosmos society and i don't know if there's any
15:15more of a better example of like the ultimate team endeavor than a football team you know i've
15:21always believed that i'm a football coach so of course i think that but i do believe that and
15:25that's that's where you know all those all those things have to be addressed and and it starts with
15:30respect it starts with mutual respect for one another and that that goes in every kind of direction
15:34every kind of way and that's the way our guys approached it and i was proud of them for that
15:39what was your role uh on saturday in the communication with abdul and jackson because i've seen
15:44have those tweets in the morning and then put the ball in on the afternoon i'm sure what was your
15:48role i didn't talk to those guys
15:49till later you know i didn't i didn't get too involved with it i heard about it and then uh
15:53kind
15:54of let it sit for a while and just see where it went you know and uh i talked to
15:58them later so all
15:58that stuff that whatever happened with those guys was between those guys and that's the way it should be
16:03it's not for me to get in the middle of it and start telling guys what to do uh if
16:06they had a conversation
16:07which i think they said they did uh by the time i talked to both those guys they said they'd
16:11already talked
16:12and uh and uh you know they were good
16:16you said uh you've kind of come to a policy as a team what is that policy well i mean
16:21that's our policy
16:22you know that's our way of approaching it but i think you know i think you can ask the players
16:25you
16:25know ask them because it's really they're they're the ones that decided you know how we were going
16:29to approach it you know guys like uh at guys like burns uh guys like jamis um all those guys
16:35i mean
16:36all the guys really i mean there's a number of guys that were part of those conversations and uh
16:40just ask them but i'd say if i was going to sum it up in any kind of way it's
16:44that we have respect
16:45for one another you know in all in all things we do and they do because you know that's the
16:49way a
16:50football team is you have to respect one another it's a hard sport to play and they already come in
16:54with mutual respect for one another so respect everything about a person's situation including their
16:59opinions and then keep it about the main thing which is which is our mission you know that's what we're
17:04that's what we're here for you know we're here to be the very best football team we can be we
17:09want
17:09to be the best team in the league we want to prove it that's our goal that's our mission um
17:13we got to
17:14work hard to do that and there's going to be all these different things that are going to come up
17:17but
17:18stay focused on that and as much as you can and deal with all the other stuff because the other
17:23stuff
17:23is part of life too if i was going to sum it up it'd be that way but i think
17:26you should ask them
17:27and see what they say john did did you or anyone else in the organization know that jackson was going
17:32to do
17:32this prior to it happening yeah we knew he was going to shake the president's hand you know
17:36someone said to me hey jackson's going to go uh meet the president and i was like great good for
17:42him
17:43john politics aside um jackson bringing up the giants at big blue nation and leading cheers was that
17:50something that maybe um again i i don't mean to interrupt the question i think it's a good question
17:56and it's it's a fair conversation and i think anybody can have their opinion about it and write
18:00about it let's look at it how you want now i respect that you know opinion uh you know it's
18:07not for me to
18:08judge it's uh it's just it's it's not it's not important it's not going to affect what kind of
18:14football team we are so uh you know i think i'll leave for other people to have that conversation do
18:19you
18:19sense that it had any effect on your team you obviously had the team meeting on tuesday the last couple
18:24days and all yeah not not at all i mean it's been great i think it's made i think it's
18:27made us better
18:28honestly jordan if i was looking at i'm kind of kind of grateful for the opportunity that we had
18:33to have the conversation because you know it's like i kind of shared this with you guys before but
18:39you know if you do things the right way you confront everything all the time that have to
18:43do with your football team and your ability to be successful and that was something to confront
18:46and talk about so rather than you know ignore it or rather than dictate something let's just talk
18:52about it you know let's confront it and let's decide how we're going to do it and they did it
18:55and they moved on and had three great practices so i feel like i feel like it's probably if if
19:01if
19:01i'm being really honest about it i think it made us better in a lot of ways given that jackson
19:07is
19:07a quarterback of your team does he have to conduct himself differently or more conscientiously about
19:12what he's standing for and representing publicly given that he represents a group of people oh yeah
19:17yeah and a big picture question a general question set it aside from a specific decision absolutely he
19:24knows that i mean you're the quarterback of the giants it's it's a great honor it's a great privilege
19:29i mean there's nothing like it you know and uh and he's a young guy and he wants to do
19:34his best
19:34to do that and be the best quarterback the best person the best teammate he can be and and he'll
19:39continue to strive to do that when you said it made the team better what exactly how do you how
19:44do you see
19:45this is he better just in what way yeah well the way i just have been talking about the chance
19:49to talk about
19:49those things and establish you know what we want to be about how we want to handle challenges like
19:54this because it's not going to be the last thing you know there's going to be all kind of things
19:57there's going to be games are going to go the way they're going to go uh you know plays are
20:01going
20:01to get made plays are not going to get made stuff's going to happen out there in the world things
20:05are
20:05going to get said stuff's going to be done you know how are we going to how are we going
20:08to approach
20:09this as a team and you really until you get to decide ahead of time how you want to handle
20:14things
20:14you know like like you do in your life right you get it yes okay this is what
20:17I stand for this is this is what I this is what we want to be about in your
20:21family or at your workplace or whatever and so that how it made us better was the
20:25fact that we were able to have that conversation and just kind of establish
20:28not kind of just establish you know what the what the principles were going to be
20:32and the players did that that was the players doing that together amongst
20:36themselves I can't think of a better way to do it than that John tomorrow if um
20:41if um Apple had sent Jackson a text we wouldn't have known about it so did you
20:47use this as a teaching moment about no I I don't mean to interrupt you but like I
20:52don't I don't I'm not worried about all that there's a lot of ways to handle it's
20:56a lot of ways to communicate there's a lot of ways to talk there's a lot of
21:00ways there's a lot of ways to do things better certainly going forward I'm sure
21:04we all learn you know and and and that's a good thing you know and that's what you
21:10do John just last one you said you knew that Jackson was going to meet the
21:15president shake his hand did you know that it was going to be in a public way
21:19introducing the president uh no but it doesn't matter you know I mean I I don't
21:25I'm not worried about it I'm not I'm not into all those details about it it's not
21:29something that concerns me what concerns me is our football team our guys our team
21:32our team talking our team being on the same page and and confronting and talking
21:38about whatever it might be I mean how do we play cover three we got to talk about it
21:42every every second how do we handle uh you know noise or criticism or how do we
21:46handle success we had that conversation how about we start how about we win five
21:50games in a row when that happens how are we going to handle that we're going to
21:54start thinking we're all that we're going to start thinking that you know the next
21:57game is going to come easy or we're going to be locked in and determined that's
22:00another conversation that we had kind of brought up through all this you know
22:03uh Roger Kipling you know triumph in disaster meet those two imposters uh treat
22:10them just the same it's something like that it's along those lines um that's
22:16kind of that's kind of how I look at it okay all set all right thanks
22:20what's up guys and gals how we doing great great what is this last week been like as a veteran
22:34in
22:34the league and just watching these two guys go through that and kind of microcosm I think I
22:40think it reflects uh what togetherness looks like um in terms of we don't have to agree we
22:49don't have to respect or even understand people's perspective but I think we should
22:54support their perspective because that's what they believe in right so I think these two young
22:59guys being resilient and showing that uncomfortable situations and coming to uh uh uh not a compromise
23:08but coming to a position of of strength of authority of the impact that they have that we have as
23:15athletes with this platform to the world is so good for them to experience because guys they
23:20were drafted together what what you don't have a tighter bond than that they sit next to each other
23:26in the team meme room right and that's what we see in this world sometimes we we we try to
23:31normalize uh
23:33just opinions uh people people's opinions everybody want to jump on oh he said this she did that but we
23:40we don't normalize togetherness we don't normalize perspective and everyone has that uh but at the
23:46end of the day as a team uh it is our it is our our i promise is our burning
23:51desire to find ways to
23:53unify to come together and to uh be great football players and what does football encompass what does
24:00sport encompass sport encompasses diversity sport encompasses people that that literally we get the
24:07chance to experience failures and success with all of y'all the people that write the people that
24:14sit there and watch in the stands and the own viewers that just have their opinion we all are
24:19experiencing this together so i i think a lot of people like to focus on the the the the macro
24:25of
24:25like look what he did or look what she said but we don't we don't focus on how we can
24:32uh see the seed
24:33of good and the unity and the ability to handle tough situations or tough circumstances that this team is
24:41dealing with that has nothing to do with football right now james you use the word you use the word
24:47uncomfortable the idea of these are uncomfortable situations they're tough situations as a team how do
24:54you guys turn uncomfortable into a growing moment and something that you guys can stronger i'm about
25:00i'm about i'm about to show you how you turn uncomfortable into a growing moment i'm from a
25:05city uh birmingham alabama where uh they blew up a church with four little girls and their parents
25:13and family had to go around picking up their limbs in the deep south picking up their limbs four little
25:22girls
25:22i'm from a city where a little nine-year-old girl who decided to march got put in jail for
25:31volunteering
25:31her right of free speech for standing on what she believes in that's history and i believe history
25:38repeats itself but i also believe in respecting authority respecting treating the man and the woman as i would
25:46like to be treated that is how uncomfortable situations and uncomfortable times help unify
25:53people because you know them you realize from them and you grow from them right now i mean i haven't
25:59been
25:59a part of uh any uh openly uh traumatizing things like that happen not 250 years ago when this country
26:09came into existence but try about 80 years ago we got people that still live during that time those
26:17little girls will still be living right now that nine-year-old girl that got sprayed with hoses and
26:23you put dogs on and put her in jail she's still living right now it's a little children's book i
26:27read
26:27this book about this nine-year-old marcher to my to my kids that's why educating our youth
26:34and informing them of our history is so important a lot of people try to push it past you like
26:40oh my
26:40gosh like that's behind us no guys we living in it right now we got we got a blonde hair
26:46blue-eyed white
26:47kid and uh a a black uh uh muslim religion black kid who are coming together and showing y'all
26:57showing the
26:58world that we can come together we can happen we don't have to see everything
27:03everything doesn't have to be viewed in this perfect little snow globe and everything doesn't
27:08have to be perfect but we have to support each other we have to promote love because love is a
27:14stronger feeling than hate and eliminate these these um unwanted opinions everybody has something to say
27:22but how many people are willing to act on change how many people are willing to be the change that
27:29they
27:29desire to see instead of just pulling a finger and say oh he said this let's cancel him oh my
27:36god he
27:37believes this oh we gotta we gotta get him that was uncomfortable wasn't it and that's how that's how
27:43happens you educate you educate you grow from it you build calluses
27:52james are you proud of abdul then for standing up against what he feels is divisive i'm proud of jackson
27:58and abdul for having this conversation getting in front of y'all and speaking what they will love
28:04i'm proud of our team for understanding that like we don't have to pick a side in this
28:12we have to understand we have to have support for other people's our team like what they stand for
28:18i'm not gonna say oh man you wrong why would you do that i'm gonna say okay that's probably what
28:26that's probably not what i believe but i love you as i love myself right so i'm gonna give you
28:33some
28:33grace all right and i'm gonna help you i'm gonna show you hey look man look this is what what
28:37happened
28:37all right this is how you handle this all right this is what teamwork looks like
28:44all right but but being proud being proud of my teammates being separated by the mass media and
28:50hearing the opinions of people that don't have nothing to do with this building but just looking at
28:56a reason to point fingers at a at a blonde hair blue-eyed white boy in a black uh muslim
29:05that that that that is what's happening to the world right and they poke and pry at these young
29:12men i know abdul say like we men yeah but how many people in this group has never made a
29:18mistake how
29:20many people in this group has never said something or did something that they wish they didn't do
29:29i i i don't know i don't know how many people in the world can say that they they didn't
29:34say or do
29:35something that they would take back now i'm a person i don't got i don't have many regrets
29:41but i do have moments of education where i have to learn about the platform that that i that i
29:47have
29:48right and the actions and the decisions that i make and who that impacts right and i think this is
29:55an
29:55excellent opportunity for those two young men to realize what they represent the platform that they
30:02have and how they're going to go about navigating that and standing on what they both believe in
30:09we'll take a few more james james you've been on multiple teams obviously how does this group mostly a
30:16lot of younger guys how does this group from your experience how have they handled it compared to
30:20say maybe other locker rooms in terms of just the veteran presence the young guys how would this how
30:25does this group handle this to work hard said you have to come out better from it just what you
30:29see
30:30perspective yeah i i think we we've we've uh we've grown from it and and i think that's the thing
30:36like
30:36we're dealing with uh a a chaotic situation that has nothing to do with our required profession
30:45we're we're understanding the importance of our voice and what we're who we're capable of of
30:52impacting and i think that is that that's what i want for all of our team all my team is
30:57understand
30:57that know that it's bigger than you is bigger than the team itself right we all got people that make
31:06decisions but the reverence for authority the reverence for the process of of of growth has to
31:15be there the reverence for for life itself it has to be there so i think i think that is
31:21where we're
31:21learning as a building we're learning we're growing but but we're focused on winning football games man
31:27that's what i think one thing like you see fifa world cup over there i think one thing like we're
31:33gonna quickly understand is like we got people coming from all nationalities religions perspective
31:38that's coming into this city right the city that we represent are we just gonna get mad and say oh
31:44my
31:45god why are these people from there coming over here they taking all the parking spots they doing all
31:49this stuff are we gonna embrace the diversity that sport brings us are we gonna embrace the platform
31:57that we're gonna get to cheer celebrate or cry have a have a have a kick with our buddy have
32:06a have a
32:07have a tough conversation with our sister about what's going on in this country right now or what's going
32:15on in the world right now i think that's what is bigger than that and i think this team is
32:22going to benefit
32:22from being able to deal with this situation that's that's been put on us about opinions
32:31circumstances conditions and facts even if they true they're still opinions of other people we know
32:37what we represent up here in this building we know what we get paid to do but a lot of
32:42us are opening our
32:44eyes to the influence that we do have on the whole world and that's a beautiful thing when you can
32:51humble
32:51yourself and realize that man i got impact i can i can i can really be the change that i
32:59desire to see
33:01and and that's what i'm encouraging these guys to do thanks james appreciate y'all
