00:00The Prime Minister has not lied to Parliament and has not misled Parliament.
00:05It is clear that we are presenting all the information to the Intelligence and Security Committee
00:12as we committed to do through the Humble Address process.
00:16And I think that the Conservatives are playing silly political games this week, frankly.
00:22Coincidentally, a week before some major elections in Scotland and Wales and the local elections,
00:28what people on the doorstep are saying to me that they're concerned about
00:32is the cost of living, the NHS, the local high street.
00:35They are not talking about the appointment of Peter Mandelson.
00:39So I think that it is clear that the Prime Minister has followed due process.
00:44He said that due process was followed, but also that the process was flawed,
00:49which is why we are reviewing the process.
00:51And we have suspended the right of permanent secretaries
00:54to go against the recommendations of security vetting.
